We are a design laboratory based in Chicago. We engineer adaptive apparel for the migration between the concrete architecture of the city and the fluid nature of the lake.
Blis Surf is not a surf shop. We are a lifestyle brand defined by the "Third Coast"—the massive freshwater sea that borders Chicago.
The project began with a simple observation: the gear designed for California or Hawaii didn't account for the industrial, freshwater reality of the Midwest. We needed equipment that could transition from a subway commute to a lake session without changing skins.
Our aesthetic is streamlined and intentional—stripping away the noise to focus on the journey and the environment.

A muralist and visual architect renowned for large-scale installations. Hannah grounds the brand in the reality of the city, translating the 3rd Coast aesthetic into wearable art.
